Terms
Last updated 25 October 2026.
1. Who we are
3329lens is developed by Lomyen Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17384504, whose registered office is at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. You can contact us at contact@3329lens.dev.
2. The open-source scanner
The 3329lens scanner (the lens3329 crate and the
3329lens repository) is licensed under the
Apache License, Version 2.0. That licence alone governs your use of it. Nothing in these
terms restricts the rights it gives you.
3. 3329lens Pro
3329lens Pro ("Pro") is a paid edition sold as an annual subscription. These terms apply to Pro. By buying or using Pro you agree to them. If you buy on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that organisation.
3.1 Buying Pro
Pro is sold through Polar, which acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record. Your purchase is a transaction with Polar, on Polar's terms of sale. Polar takes payment, charges any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your invoice. These terms govern your licence to use Pro.
3.2 Your licence
While your subscription is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Pro for the internal purposes of the organisation that bought it, within any limits stated at the time of purchase. You must not:
- sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute Pro or your licence key;
- remove, bypass or tamper with the licence check; or
- share your licence key outside your organisation.
Pro is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted.
3.3 Renewal and cancellation
Your subscription renews automatically each year at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal linked from your Polar receipt, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
3.4 Price changes
We will tell you about any price change at least 30 days before it applies to your renewal, so you can cancel first if you wish.
3.5 Updates and support
During your subscription you are entitled to the Pro updates we release and to support by email at contact@3329lens.dev, which we provide on a reasonable-efforts basis during UK working days.
4. What the scanner can and cannot tell you
3329lens and Pro report on the cryptography and advisories they can detect. They do not guarantee that every vulnerable or quantum-vulnerable component is found. Results depend on the advisory database you supply and on the documented scope and limitations. You are responsible for decisions you make using the output.
5. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. If you are a consumer, you also have statutory rights that these terms do not affect.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
- Pro is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded;
- we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, data or business, or for any indirect or consequential loss; and
- our total liability to you in connection with Pro is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim arose.
6. Ending your licence
Your licence ends when your subscription ends. We may also end it if you materially breach these terms and do not put the breach right within 14 days of our telling you about it. When your licence ends you must stop using Pro. The open-source scanner is unaffected.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies, and the terms in force when your subscription last renewed continue to apply until the next renewal.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts and rely on local mandatory consumer law.
